MANIKGANJ: A total of 63 people including women, children and elderly people were injured in dog bites in several areas of Manikganj on Friday (July 21).

The dawn-to-dusk incident took place after an anxious and unstable dog suddenly started biting people in the area. The injured were treated at Manikganj sadar hospital. 

Confirming the matter, Residential Medical Officer of Manikganj Sadar Hospital Dr. Lutfar Rahman told Banglanews that a total of 63 people have been treated so far in dog bites. However, none of them were critically injured. They went home after taking vaccine injection.
