BOGRA: Three people were killed and some others were injured as a bus collided face-to-face with a truck at Dhaka-Bogra Highway in Sherpur upazila Friday (July 21).
 
The accident took place at around 12:00pm.

The deceased couldn’t be identified yet.

Sherpur Fire Service & Civil Defence Station Officer M Sohel Rana told Banglanews that a Bogra-bound bus engaged in a head-on collision with a truck at Dhonkundi area in the highway, leaving one killed and 10 others injured.

The injured were rushed to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital (SZMCH) and Sherpur Upazila Health Complex.

Of the injured, one succumbed to death while undergoing treatment at SZMCH and another died en route to the hospital.

Sources from Chilimpur Police outpost in Bogra town confirmed the casualties to Banglanews.
