CHITTAGONG:  A training airplane of the Bangladesh Air Force has crashed in Baro Hatiya area under Lohagora upazila of Chittagong on Tuesday afternoon (July 11).

Quoting locals District Superintendent of Police (SP) Nure Alam Mina told Banglanews that the aircraft crashed during training session. The plane catches on fire after the crash. However, the trainer and trainee landed safely using parachutes.     

Lohagora police station officer-in-charge (OC) Mohammad Shahjahan told Banglanews that the plane crashed on the foothills in Haridarghona area 15-20 kilometers far from the police station. Police team led by OC (Investigation) Mohammad Hossain is on the scene.
