GOPALGANJ: Two people were killed and four others injured in a road crash as a minibus rammed a battery-run three-wheeler in Khandarpar area under Muksudpur upazila of Gopalganj on Monday noon (July 10).

The deceased were identified as Samsu Khan, 75, hailed from the area and Eklin Mia, 18, son of one Lutfar Mia from Kaunia village.

Muksudpur thana officer-in-charge (OC) Azizur Rahman told Banglanews that the six passengers of the three-wheeler got seriously injured after the bus hit them around 10:00 am.

They were rushed to Muksudpur Health Complex and Faridpur Medical College and Hospital while two of them succumbed to injuries. The bus was seized, however, the driver managed to escape, he added.
