DHAKA: The passengers traveling by air on domestic flight must produce photo identity card at the check-in-counter along with the ticket. Use of photo identity card is mandatory for the international route.

The Civil Aviation Authority, Bangladesh issued a circular in this regard on June 30. The Banglanews found a copy of the circular on Wednesday (July 05).

Signed by chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority Air Vice Marshal Ehsanul Gani Choudhury, the circular was said that valid passport, national ID card or smart card, driving license, photo ID card issued by educational institution or relevant institution will be treated photo identity card.

This directive will be effective following issuance of the circular.
