Eid jamaats being held at Baitul Mukarram

DHAKA: Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of Muslims, is being celebrated across the country after a month of fasting on Monday (June 26).

As part of observance, Baitul Mukarram National Mosque is set to arrange a total of five jamaats (congregations) in the morning.

Of the five separate jamaats, the first was held at 7:00 am.

Baitul Mukarram mosque Pesh Imam Hafez Mufti Muhibillahil Baki Nadvi administrated the prayer.  

People from different parts of the capital city took part in it.

The next four jamaats were scheduled at 8:00 am, 9:00 am, 10:00 am and 10:45 am separately.
 
Four separate imams are supposed to administrate the prayers.

However, Muslim community members in different parts of the country are celebrating their beloved festival with due religious fervor and festive manner on Sunday.
