KUSHTIA: A businessman was killed in a road accident at Mirpur upazila in Kushtia on Friday (June 23) after a human hauler lost control and collided with a roadside tree.

The deceased was identified as Abdus Sattar, an inhabitant of Ward No. 6 of Mirpur municipality.

The incident took place on Kushtia-Meherpur Highway at Kachubria Math area under Mirpur upazila in the afternoon.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Mirpur police station Rafiqul Islam confirmed the matter to the Banglanews.
