BOGRA: The death toll in road accident in Bogra has risen to four, as another injured person of the accident succumbed to injuries at Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital on Friday afternoon (June 23).

Earlier at noon, a head-on collision between a bus and a truck has left two people dead and at least 10 others injured in Mahipur area under Sherpur Upazila of the district. 

The identities of the deceased could not be known till filling the report.

Sherpur Fire Service and Civil Defense Station Officer Mohammad Sohel Rana told Banglanews that a Dhaka-bound passenger bus of HM Paribahan collided with a truck leaving two people dead on spot. 

Some of the injured were taken to Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Hospital. The death toll could rise, he added.
