DHAKA: A fire broke out at the book market in the city's Nilkhet area on Friday evening (May 26). Nine fire Service units are on the way to douse the blaze.
Fire Service Duty Officer Mizanur Rahman said the fire originated at an alley of the market known as ‘Chinese Goli’ around 7:55pm. The cause behind the fire and extent of damage could not be known immediately.
On information, nine units of Fire Service are on the way while two units have already reached the spot, he added.
