DINAJPUR: Police recovered the hanging bodies of two lovers who allegedly committed suicide by hanging from a tree in Palashbari area under Biral upazila of the district on Thursday (May 25).

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Roni, 14 and Purnima Rani, 14. Both of them are 10th class student of a local Raghupur High School.

Biral police station inspector (investigation) Imtiaz Kabir told Banglanews that, on information, police recovered the bodies around 11:00am. Initially it is believed that they committed suicide as family members refused to give consent to their relationship.
