RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY: Police recovered a bag full of 100 answer scripts of HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) examination-2017, from a student dormitory in Rajshahi University (RU) on Monday (May 22).  

New Government Degree College Islamic History Department faculty Dr Abul Kalam and Shah Mokhdum College Islamic History Department faculty Masudul Hasan were arrested in connection with the matter.

Rajshahi education board Exam controller Torun Kumar Sarker said that the answer scripts were found abandoned in the Munnujan Hall of Rajshahi University around 6:30 pm Monday.

However, the scripts were of Islamic History and Culture (Second paper), for which the examination was taken on May 2, he said.

RU Proctor Professor Mojibul Haque Azad said that the answer scripts were given to Abul Kalam Azad for evaluation. 

The recovered answer scripts were kept at the education board office.

The matter was being investigated, said Exam controller Torun Kumar.
