DHAKA: A bus driver was killed as a bus hit him in Ramna area of Dhaka city on Monday night (May 22).

The deceased was identified as Sumon, 22, a resident of Muslim Bazar, Mirpur section-12.  

Ramna police station officer-in-charge (OC) Rafiqul Islam said that a passenger bus crashed Sumon when he was walking in a road before Sonargaon hotel area at around 9:30 pm, leaving him dead.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical Hospital (DMCH) for an autopsy.

However, the incident was being investigated, said the OC.
