Students asked to vacate DMC hall

DHAKA: Authorities of the Dhaka Medical College (DMC) have asked the residential students of the Fazle Rabbi Hall of the college following a clash between two groups of the students.

Principal of the DMC Dr Ismail Khan confirmed the matter to the Banglanews on Tuesday afternoon (March 28).

According to the principal, a clash took place between the senior students and the junior students of the college in the morning. Two students were injured in the clash.

In sequence of the clash, the students of the Fazle Rabbi Hall have been excited from noon. For this, the hall has been announced closed for unidentified period. The students have been asked to vacant the hall, he added.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Shahbagh police station Abul Hasan told the Banglanews that police were deployed in the hall to avert untoward incident.
