Alim Ullah ‘rajakar’ dies at DMCH

DHAKA: ‘Rajakar’ Alim Ullah, an accused of crimes against humanity committed in 1971 liberation war, died at prison cell of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) Monday morning (March 27).

He was 80.

On-duty jailor at DMCH Zakaria confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

He further said Alim Ullah was rushed to the hospital after he had fallen sick in the morning due to old age complexities.

On-duty physicians declared him dead on arrival, he added.

Alim Ullah hailed from Ujankhali area under Kachua upazila in Bagerhat.
