DHAKA: At least five bodies were recovered and 13 other injured rescued as a commando team of Bangladesh Army had brought the hostage crisis at Holey Artisan Bakery restaurant in city’s Gulshan area under control after a 45-minute operation here.

Confirming the matter, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) intelligence wing director Lt. Col. Abul Kalam Azad said journalists that the operation has ended.

The identity of the deceased could not be identified immediately, he added.

Some of the injured were taken to the army hospital, he added.
