It was Bandh on the 15th October in Imphal. According to history, this day Manipur was united with India though many inhabitants did not agree with this merger. Among them, there are separatist rebels. Every year, they protest this occurrence by observing strike on the day.

We started our journey with Naoriya Pakhanglakpa Handloom Centre.
No sooner had we missed the flight for Imphal, we started looking for alternative route. Indigo operates flight between Agartala and Imphal and we were left with very few options. There is no direct rail communication between Agartala and Imphal, capital of Manipur. Although road communication exists, journey is unlikely to be pleasant. We started well before the scheduled time on the 13th to catch the flight for Imphal.
