1 lynched in Kurigram

KURIGRAM: An alleged unidentified thief was lynched at Janata village of Ulipur upazila of the district early Monday.

Villagers and police sources said that angry mob beat him to death suspecting a thief in the night.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Officer-in-Charge of Ulipur Thana Horeshwar Roy said, “On information, police rushed in and recovered the body.”

The body was sent to Kurigram morgue for autopsy, he added.
