BNP standing committee meeting at night

DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia convened a standing committee meeting, its highest policy making forum, on Monday night.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, BNP standing committee member Dr. Khondaker Mosharraf Hossain said, “The meeting will be held at her Gulshan political office at about 8:00pm.”

He said, “The meeting will discuss various national issues, including the present political situation of the country.”

“Meanwhile, it may discuss the next step of the party ahmed of the upcoming Ramadan”, he added.

BNP will discuss the next course of action over their ongoing anti-government movement  in the meeting, said a party source.
