She said, “I lost all my energy during uphill endeavor. I felt numb while downward journey. I was affected by two snow slides.”
Nishat Majumder, after the conquest of the world’s highest mountain, made her expression while talking to journalists at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport after she put her steps on the home ground.
She told the journalists, “I am dedicating the triumph to the youths of the country so that they can think about the country and its development in stead of narcotics, tobacco and drug abuse.”
The icon articulated that “I thought the dire weather was conducting us toward Tibet and I was hurt in head and forehead while I was affected by snow slides”.
Intrepid Nishat said, “I never considered myself as a woman as I always like to sense my self as a human being.”
Besides, escort of Nishat and another two-time conqueror of Everest Mohit said, “Last time I climbed the Everest through the side of Tibet and this time from Nepal however the second side is more adverse.”
He told the journalists they survived miraculously as Khumbhu Icefall claimed their 12 to 13 lives travel mates. “At one stage, storm pulled Nishat 30 feet away and we found her in the middle of snow,” the news men were told.
Nishat’s family and friends, relatives and different organizations, including well-wishers, were present at the airport to receive her.
Their guide Nigma Galez Sherpa was also present with the conquerors.
