DHAKA: `World Trade Directory: Bangladesh, Connecting the World` was launched in the city on Wednesday in a bid to connect the businessmen with the world for doing business.
Commerce Minister Ghulam Muhammed Quader opened the directory as chief guest at a function at Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI).
The directory will guide entrepreneurs and researchers to know about the trade and other economic information about Bangladesh and 176 countries of the world, Quader hoped.
DCCI, Bangladesh Tariff Commission (BTC) and Business Initiative Leading Development (BUILD) jointly published the directory.
Among others, Chairman of Bangladesh Tariff Commission Dr. Md Muzibur Rahman, Commerce Secretary Ghulam Hussain, Member of Bangladesh Tariff Commission Dr. Mostafa Abid Khan, DCCI President Asif Ibrahim took part in the programme.
