Info dept’s PIO Aminul takes over office

DHAKA: Aminul Islam, Additional Secretary of Information Ministry, took over charge as the Principal Information Officer (PIO) of the Information Department.

Prior to his new assignment, he worked as director of Department of Films and Publications (admin and publication), Director General of Bangladesh Film Archive, vice-chairman of Bangladesh Film Censor Board, General Manager of Sadharan Bima Corporation and Joint Secretary of Information Ministry.
 
Earlier, he has been appointed as the Principal Information Officer (PIO) of the Information Department, a government order issued by Ministry of Public Administration disclosed it on June 18.
