Khaleda flies to KSA Friday

DHAKA: BNP Chairperson and opposition leader Khaleda Zia leaves for Saudi Arabia for taking treatment on Friday.

An Emirates Airlines flight carrying the former prime minister and her entourage will leave Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Friday evening.

BNP Chairperson`s Press Secretary Maruf Kamal Khan Sohel and personal secretary Saleh Ahmed confirmed this to banglanews.

Speaker of the parliament has already been informed the matter.

Earlier, Khaleda Zia was scheduled to go Saudi Arabia for treatment. But, she took treatment from Bangkok instead of Saudi due to the repeated anti-government movement.

She is expected to return home within a week.
