3 siblings killed in Noakhali fire

NOAKHALI: Three minor siblings were burnt to death in a fire that left their house to ashes at Char Bayezid village in Subarna Char Upazila on Friday night.

The deceased were identified as Md. Faruk, 7, Sampad, 1 and Ayesha Begum, sons and daughter of Md. Gias Uddin.

Char Clerk UP chairman Shahabuddin told banglanews, “The fire originated at kitchen of Gias Uddin’s house at 11:30pm and soon engulfed the whole house, leaving three minor siblings burnt alive and their mother managed to escape.”

On information, Char Jabber Thana police rushed in and sent the bodies to Noakhali Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
