Thursday’s stocks sliding

DHAKA : Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing antipathy in share-price indices on Thursday.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index shed over 13 points minus to stand at 4,815 at 12:31 pm on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 21,645 with transaction at Tk 713 million. Of the issues traded, 68 advanced, 129 declined and 36 remained unchanged.

LANKABAFIN topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 47 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 9,146 by dropping over 1 point at 12:32 pm.

Out of the issues traded, 43 gained, 71 declined and 21 remained unchanged.
