Worker dies in Ctg

CHITTAGONG: A ship-breaking worker died while he was working with cables at a shipyard in Chhoto Kumira area under Shitakunda upazila on Sunday afternoon.

The Deceased was identified as Nur Uddin, 26, son of Muhammad Jamal Ullah of Bashbaria Nulabil area.

Mismack Shipyard driver Amzad Hossain told banglanews that Nur Uddin was injured by falling while working with the cables of ship on behalf of contractor organization KB Enterprise.

Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost constable Nazmul Hossain told banglanews: “Amzad Hossain rushed him to the emergency unit of the hospital in a critical condition where the on-duty doctor declared him dead around 1:55pm.”
 
Police outpost Nayek Mrinal Chakma said the body was kept in the hospital morgue.
