PM attends AFD’s iftar

DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday attended an iftar party hosted by Bangladesh Armed Forces Division (AFD) at Senakunja in Dhaka Cantonment.

Before iftar, a special prayer was offered for the development of the armed forces as well as continued peace, progress and prosperity of the nation.

Prayers were also offered seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and other victims of the August 15 massacre, martyrs of the War of Liberation and martyred armed forces members.


Earlier on her arrival at Senakunja, Defence Adviser to the Prime Minister Maj Gen (retd) Tarique Ahmed Siddique, chiefs of the three services and the Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division received the Premire.
