CII delegation visits DEPZ

Expresses interest to invest here

FROM DEPZ: The high-level delegation of Confederation of Indian Industry visited Dhaka Export Processing Zone (DEPZ) Saturday.

During their one hour long visit, Finance Director of Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) AKM Mahbubur Rahman presented a documentary film showing the opportunities of investment and potentialities of Bangladesh.

The delegation, headed by CII President Adi Godrej, expressed interest to invest here observing the congenial atmosphere of DEPZ.

The Indian CEOs Mission arrived Dhaka on Friday to further deepen economic and investment relations and strengthen trade and business ties between two neighboring countries.
       
The business delegation is being headed by CII President Adi Godrej and includes companies such as Ashok Leyland, Bajaj Auto, Wockhardt, Tata Power and Max Healthcare, the chamber said in a statement today.

Industry body CII is here to brace commercial ties with Bangladesh.
