Dipu for legal solution of Maldives crisis

DHAKA: Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni categorically said that the internal crisis of the Maldives should be solved constitutionally.

The minister came up with the observation when Deputy Foreign Minister of the Maldives Ali Hamid called on her at her office in the city Tuesday.

Dipu Moni thanked him for joining the 2-day long International Conference on “People’s Empowerment and Development” for the welfare of the world`s one billion bottom-line people.

The minister also expressed gratitude to Maldives government for enlisting the Bangladeshi workers there.

Dipu Moni said, “Bangladesh and Maldives can enhance trading, tourism, investment and cultural exchange.”
