NOAKHALI: A youth was killed in road mishap at Dharmapur on Sonapur-Chairman ghat road in Sadar Upazila on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Md. Harun, 20, son of Md. Sirajul Islam of Hazipur village in Subarmapur Upazila.
Sudharam Model Thana SI Habibur Rahman told banglanews, “Harun’s head was smashed after being hit by a roadside tree at about 8pm when he put his head out through the window of running passenger bus, leaving him dead on the spot.”
On information, police rushed in and recovered the body.
An unnatural death case was filed in this connection.
