Farid President, Sukumar Secy of IMCAB

DHAKA: Farid Hossain, correspondent of English Daily ‘The Telegraph’ and Sukumar Sarkar of Sangbad Protidin were elected as president and secretary respectively of ‘Indian Media Correspondent Association in Bangladesh (IMCAB), an organization of Bangladeshi journalists working in different media of India.

They were elected at a general meeting of the organization held at the National Press Club Friday.

Members of the committee Ataur Rahman, Nirmal Chakraborty (Uttarbanga Sangbad) and Anwarul Karim (Proyag) also spoke at the general meeting.

Indian Media Correspondent Association in Bangladesh (IMCAB) was formed recently with Bangladeshi journalists working in different media of India.
