BTRC issues notice on Banglalink

DHAKA: Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) Sunday issued a show-cause notice to mobile-phone operator Banglalink asking for an explanation from it for violating 2G renewal guideline.

A Source from BTRC confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Another source from Banglalink said according to 2G renewal policy maximum seven people can hold the top positions but there are 14 top level people in Banglalink.

Of them, some 11 are from abroad, he added.
