Khaleda exchanges greeting

DHAKA:Opposition BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia Monday exchanged Eid greetings with all walks of people, including diplomats and civil society personalities at city’s Eskaton Ladies Club.

She exchanged greetings with foreign diplomats and delegates of international organizations around 12:15pm.

BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee Members Dr RA Gani, Barrister Jamir Uddin Sircer, Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Nazrul Islam Khan, lieutenant general (retd) Mahbubur Rahman, Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Barrister Rafiqul Islam Mia, Mirza Abbas, brigadier general (retd) ASM Hannan Shah and chairperson’s adviser Dr Osman Faruk were among others present on the occasion.

The former Prime Minister is likely to pay homage to the grave of late President Ziaur Rahman at Sher-e-Banglanagar in the city.

The opposition chief will hold a meet with the party leaders and activists at night at her Gulshan party office in the city as well.
