Classes on maritime victory June 10

DHAKA: Education Ministry is likely to organize special classes in different schools and colleges across the country on the landmark verdict on the maritime dispute over the Bay of Bengal between Bangladesh and Myanmar.

Meanwhile, the ministry has also drafted a class note in this regard. These class notes have already been supplied to the heads of all public and private schools, colleges and madrasas.

Earlier on May 24, an order was sent to secondary and higher education officers of all districts.

On March 14, the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) passed the verdict giving Bangladesh its right over the Bay of Bengal.
