SYLHET: The report of the three-member investigating committee is yet to expose to light as it requires the approval of the ruling party.
The committee was formed by the college and home ministry authorities to disclose the torching incident which burnt down the long-established hotels of the college.
Regarding the matter, investing committee convener ADM Shahidul Islam told banglanews, locals were added as witnesses in the investigation report. Then, the committee-members will decide when they will publish the report.
MC College Principal Dhiresh Chandra told banglanews that the head of the committee demanded more time as he was ill.
Earlier on July 8, over 200 hostel rooms of the long-established MC College were burnt down following a clash between Chhatra League and Chhatra Shibir.
Later, it was closed for an indefinite period following a clash between Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) and Islami Chhatra Shibir.
Meanwhile, the college authorities formed a five-member probe body led by Vice Principal Professor Al Helal Bhuiyan to investigate into the incident.
