Worker dies in city

DHAKA: A construction worker died as he fell down from the fifth floor of a residential building in Abhay Das Lane area under Wary Thana of the city on Monday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Rana, 30, hailed from Chapainawbganj district and used to live Jatrabari area.

His co-workers said he fell down from the fifth floor of the building carelessly around 12:30pm while he was working in the building.

Later, his co-workers rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

His body was kept in hospital’s morgue.
