DHAKA: Director and actor Mahfuz Ahmed became the father of a baby girl after his wife gave birth to their first child in the city’s United Hospital Thursday afternoon.
His wife Ishrat Jahan Qader Mimi gave birth to the child around under the supervision of Dr Nusrat Jaman.
Seeing the child’s face for the first time Mahfuz said, ‘I have heard many fairy tales in my childhood but have seen angle for the first time today (Thursday).’
He told banglanews24.com, ‘I have named her Mourin Aradhya Ahmed, as we got a daughter after a lot of prayers and wait.’
Besides, he also informed that the mother and child are in a good health.
To be mentioned, they got married on 17 November, 2000.
