Seaports to hoist signal 3

DHAKA: As deep convection is taking place over the North Bay, squally weather may affect the North Bay and adjoining coastal area of Bangladesh.

The latest Met office bulletin also said maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Mongla have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal number 3.

All fishing boats and trawlers over the North Bay and deep sea have been advised to remain closed to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice, the bulletin added.
