Ansar member electrocuted in Kushtia

KUSHTIA: An Ansar man was electrocuted in Kamalpur village under Daulatpur Upazila of the district on Friday morning.

The deceased was identified as Rokonuddin, 25, a member of Bangladesh Ansar.

Daulatpur Thana Officer-in-Charge Sheikh Lutfar Rahman told banglanews, “Rokon came home four days ago from his Dhaka workplace. On the day, he came in contact with electric wire while he was trying to fix a malfunctioned electric water pump.”

He was buried without an autopsy, the OC added.
