Cartoon show on plantation ends today

DHAKA: A three-day cartoon show on plantation titled ‘Gachh Lagao! Gachh Banchao!’ will end today at Drik Gallery in Dhanmondi.

The show, jointly organised by famous cartoon magazine ‘Unmad’ and fashion and environment magazine named ‘Travel and Fashion’, will remain open till 8:00pm today.

A total of 70 cartoons by 30 artists are on display highlighting the necessity of plantation.

According to the organisers, the show aims to create awareness among the viewers about the affect of global warming.

They hope that the show would encourage the people to plant trees to save the planet.
