Dr. MA Matin passes away

DHAKA: Dr MA Matin, Chairman of Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP-Matin) and Eye Specialist, died of cardiac arrest at his Shantinagar residence in the city Wednesday morning.

His first Namaz-e-Janaza will be held in BIRDEM hospital around 3pm and the second at South Plaza in the Parliament building around 4:30pm.

Later, he will be buried at his family graveyard in Sirajganj district.

Dr MA Matin left behind two sons and his wife to mourn his death.

Earlier, he was elected as a lawmaker under the banner of Jatiya Party and later he formed Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP).
