DHAKA: Bangladesh and South Sudan have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to ease cooperation in agriculture sector.
Expatriate Welfare Ministry revealed the information on Thursday.
Bangladeshi Labour, Employment and Expatriate Welfare Minister Engineer Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain and S Sudan Agriculture Minister Dr Betty Achan Ogurau signed the memorandum in S Sudan.
A top-level team led by the minister went to Sudan on July 28.
The Bangladesh delegation met with president, concerning ministers and persons and discussed bilateral issues, including manpower, healthcare, education, agriculture and communication development issues.
The team will return home on August 5.
