Teacher killed in Dinajpur road crash

PARBATIPUR, DINAJPUR: A college teacher was killed and another injured as a bus knocked their motorcycle down in Tikiapara crossing area on Dinajpur-Parbatipur road on Tuesday morning.

The Deceased was identified as Hasinur Rahman, 36, son of Atab Uddin of Balupara Mostafapur village under Amarpur union and a lecturer for Bengali in BM College in Chirirbandar upazila.

Critically injured Hasinur’s uncle-in-law Rashidul Islam, 32, was admitted to Lam Hospital.

Parbatipur Model Thana SI Jahid told banglanews, a passenger bus of Asa Shimla Paribahan hit their motorcycle in Tikiapara crossing area while they were going to Bogra around 10am, injuring them critically.

They were rushed to Lam Hospital where the on duty doctor declared Hasinur dead.
Police rushed in and seized the bus.
