Cox’s Bazar road crash kills 1 injures 60

COX’S BAZAR: A man was killed and 60 others injured in a head-on collision between two passenger buses in Dhalirchhara area under Ramu upazila in the district on Thursday noon.

The deceased was identified as Ramzan Ali, 40, son of Mazid Gazi, hailed from Nandipara area of Narayanganj.

Of the injured, 10 were admitted to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital, 30 to Ramu Upazila Hospital, 20 to Dulhazra Christian Memorial Hospital and the rest to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.

Officer-in-Charge of Ramu Thana Mizbah Uddin confirmed the incident to banglanews.
