Road crashes kill 2 in Ctg

CHITTAGONG: Two people were killed in two separate road accidents in Oxygen intersection and Baluchara areas under Bayezid Thana in the port city on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

The identity of the two deceased, aged at 45, could not be known immediately.

Chittagong Medical College Hospital police outpost Habilder Md. Wasim told banglanews, “A speedy bus knocked down a man at Oxygen intersection around 11 pm, leaving him injured critically.”

Passers-by rushed him to CMCH where duty doctor declared him dead.

In another accident, locals informed police about a senseless male body lying on the street in Baluchara area at about 9:30am.

On information, police rushed in and rushed him to CMCH where duty doctor declared him dead.

The bodies were taken to the hospital morgue.
