CHITTAGONG: Two minor siblings drowned in a pond in Bashkhali town area of the district Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Joy Deb, 8 and Joya Deb, children of Manik Deb of the area.
Local sources said that they went to play after returning from school and were missing for long time.
After a search, they were found floating in pond water and were rushed to Upazila Health Complex where duty doctor declared them dead, sources added.
Officer-in-Charge of Bashkhali Thana confirmed the matter to banglanews.
