DC conference begins

DHAKA: The three-day long deputy commissioners’ conference began on Tuesday morning at Prime Minister’s office in the city.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the conference at about 10am Tuesday.

Among others, PM’s advisor to Public administration HT Imam, Cabinet secretary Mosarraf Hossain Bhuiyan and all divisional commissioners are present in the session.

After the inaugural session, the Premier is expected to hold a discussion meeting with the DCs.

Source said during the conference the DCs will met with the President and discussion will be held regarding 38 ministries and departments.

The regular session will start at 8:15am on every scheduled day. The media men will be informed about the session topics around 5:15pm everyday.

During the working sessions, ministers, state ministers, senior secretaries and secretaries will emphasize on preset topics.
