PDB to buy gas from Santos at high rate

DHAKA: The Power Distribution Board (PDB) is going to buy gas from Australian Multinational Company Santos at high rate.

In this regard, ratification was signed between PDB and Santos at PDB office in the city Wednesday.

PDB company secretary Azizul Islam and Santos president John Chambers signed the ratification on behalf of their respective sides.

According to the deal, Santos will provide per SMCF gas at $4.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, director of PDB Public Relation Directorate Saiful Hasan Chowdhury said, the final deal would be signed soon.
