KOLKATA: Finance Minister AMA Muhith rejected to resign from his job over Padma Bridge graft allegation.
The minister came up with the decline while replying to question of the journalists during his Kolkata visit Wednesday.
The minister said no corruption took place in the much-talked-about Padma Bridge construction project.
BNP is demanding his resignation for three years without any logical ground, he added.
The World Bank’s corruption allegation over Padma Bridge construction is not right as Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) found nothing in this connection, the newsmen were told.
He said, “The WB and the Canadian company did not provide any evidence over the allegation,” he said adding, “I also personally found no graft in this regard.”
