1 electrocuted in Ctg

CHITTAGONG: A painter was electrocuted in C&B Balutal area under Chandgaon Thana in the port city on Wednesday night.

The deceased was identified as Md. Omar, 45, son of Md. Solaiman.

Chittagong Medical College Hospital police outpost Habilder Md. Wasim told banglanews Omar was electrocuted while painting in a garage at about 11pm.

Later, his co-workers admitted him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.

Habilder Md. Wasim said the body was handed over to the victim’s family.
