DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing antipathy in share-price indices on Wednesday as part of its recent trend of fall.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index shed over 90 points minus to stand at 4,313 at 2 pm on the day trading.
Trade deals stood at 33,850 with transaction at Tk 877 million.
Of the issues traded, 18 advanced, 219 declined and 10 remained unchanged.
BSCCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 67 million having changed hands during the time.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8,293 by dropping over 129 points at 2 pm.
Out of the issues traded, 8 gained, 148 declined and 10 remained unchanged.
